In recent years, there has been a growing interest of Japanese companies in relation to South America and also Uruguay. This interest is perceived with the increase of the investments and the establishment of companies in the country and in the area.
The Chamber has been making efforts before authorities of The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a business mission to Chile and Argentina, also include Uruguay in its visit to the southern cone.
These efforts crystallized with the confirmation of authorities of the said Chamber, the visit of this group of businessmen to Uruguay on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 December 2014.
