The 29th edition of the annual GeneXus Meeting (GX29 Builders), which brings together thousands of attendees from all over the world, was held towards the end of September in Montevideo. On the event site you can see the 150 conferences, both in Spanish and English about artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, transport of the future, blockchain, quantum computing, business in the digital age, design and automation, bots and integration between technology, people and situations, the Internet of Things; and many more topics.
GeneXus meetings in Japan and China
GeneXus Day 2019 Builders was held in a packed room during the day of October 29 at Akihabara Convention Hall (Tokyo), together with the growing community of GeneXus developers in Japan, industry experiences and success stories were shared; on the occasion, in addition, the CEO of GeneXus, Nicolás Jodal, gave a lecture.
The number of GeneXus users in Japan increases year by year since its emergence – 16 years ago – when GeneXus Japan was established in 2003, in order to distribute GeneXus in the Japanese market.
Since then GeneXus users do not stop growing and success stories proliferate since many companies use GeneXus in Japan, in different industries such as financial, IT, retail, among others, such as the software industry itself.
This year, keynote lectures were given about GeneXus in banking systems, partner experiences, and their support through decades of evolution. Talks of companies related to the practice of digital transformation and environmental improvement (ITR Corporation). A presentation was also made by Fujitsu, about its results and future expectations with GeneXus, and the experience in agile methodologies was shared with GeneXus from JBCC.
